Sunday Morning Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois.
For some reason, this is the second post I have attemped for this morning. The first response is lost in never never land. Oh well, its not important.
Dave, sorry, but I got here first today. I hope you had a good walk at the mall yesterday.
Randy, no flames, but a suggestion. How about posting your what you ate thread later in the day, after people are done eating. It may get more responses that way.
Carol, sorry you didn'y get the grands yesterday.
Angie, I hope you enjoyed the visit from your son. And no, I will past on your closets
My plans for today are none. I am going to try to relax but, I know it won't happen. I am already thinking of things to do. Such a differance from the year before surgury. At that time, I didn't want to do anything!
Last night we went to a blue grass jam. It was held at a church hall here in town, and even with the cold and blow, it was packed. Plus it was free. I guess this is going to be a monthly event.
Stay warm, stay safe, enjoy your day.
Hugs
LISA
Lisa, glad to hear that you had a great time last night at a blue grass jam. Love your comments to everyone too.
This morning I put away all my Christmas decorations and put up my Valentine decorations. It's a lot of work because I have to get the boxes from the garage and pack them and return them back to the garage. My garage is separate from the house, so I have to go outside. Ugh! But, it's all done now and I'm happy about it.
Val (Willow) is coming over today. YAY!! I haven't seen my good friend for a while.
Tomorrow I've got a morning meeting outside the hospital and it takes up my morning.
Well, that's all folks. Hope everyone is doing OK.
Hugs,
Lucy

It is a nice sunny day out there.
Lisa, I amd sorry you are going to poass on Angie's closets as I was going to put my name in as next on the list. Hmmm this could be a different job for you. The blue grass jam sounds like fun.
No special plans for me today either. I do have to run out and get some prescriptions but other than that, not much else happening.
Dave, if you want to be first and are a late night owl, post the roll call after midnight and you will be first@

Hope everyone had a great day yesterday. And, we get a bonus day today! Enjoy that one as well. Hope it is a good one.

I don't care about being first. Once work starts on Tuesday I will either be first or last every day.
I had a great time walking around with my sister. We walked for about 4 hours. (Not working out, just strolling)
Holister has a huge sale going on, so I wiggled my fat but around there store pushing little stick figured girls out of my way so I could blow about $150 on hoodies and sweatshirts for my son.
I bought a $200 hoodie with thick flannel inside it for $19. It is really nice. I usually hate those stores (Holister, Amb & Finch, etc..) because the kids that hang around there make me want to kick them or something.
If you have a teen, Cherry Valley mall has regular Holister hoodies for $10- $15. It is a really good deal. I was thinking of buying a bunch and putting them on E-Bay. They go for $40-$50 on EBay.
Then we went to Subway for lunch. I was going to get a soup, but what they had didn't look good, so I bought a meatball wrap. I didn't eat but one meatball, and some lettuce, but it was good. Subway was my pre-op favorite. (But I was eating a footlong and looking for more.)
I do have a question for everyone..... What resturants do you like to go to? Where people like us can get a good deal and eat real healthy foods.
I am in a soup kick now, because it is so much easier for me. I can't really eat anything fried, or greasy.
Anyway, thats how the day went.
I am up getting ready for church. I have a new church that I really like, so I have been going since the new year. (Kinda my New Years resolution)
I hope everyone's day goes good.
See ya.

OH Dave, I love to go to Mexican Rest. I would get a taco with out the shell, or refried beans If I went for Breakfast I would just get one scrambled egg with ham and cheese on it,
. good luck to you hope you fine a nice place to eat you like,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
|There is light at the end of the tunnel!!!!! I am still not in the hospital Ill go in on Tuesday for about 3 days. The oncologist called me on Friday with great news.
